This is a beer that I’ve wanted to make since the beginning of my career. I finally decided it was time. The entire brewery team executed it beautifully! This lager leans towards the maltier side and finishes with a kiss of smoke.

On tap at Bosque Brewing in Albuquerque, NM.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like honey, light campfire smoke, lemon zest, and grassy hops.

This fairly lightly smoked overall – I’d want a bit more, but it’s still a tasty helles at it’s core anyway. There’s doughy bread with some honey lightly drizzled on, and some lemony and grassy hop character as well.

This is light bodied, clean, and very crisp, with a nice drinkability.

I loved smoked helles lagers, and this is a fairly decent take on them.
