a fine pale ale, not super fresh to me when i tasted it, possibly picked up off a warm shelf, but one of the better beers i had in our little tasting of cans from these guys, super inconsistent stuff, but this one is showing decently well, brassy colored and fairly clear, moderate white head on top, good carbonation. sabro and citra in this apparently, i think it reads pretty new school in the nose, sabro with coconut and lime notes, a little oxidation too though, soft subtly sweet malt, light toast and white sugar, cleaner on the ferment than some of their others we tasted, basic but modern, other than freshness its all pretty appealing, and the flavor is right there too, sabro is apparent, a light sulfur thing in here is a bit disruptive and its a little maltier in terms of balance because of the stale aspect thats here, but i get identifiable citra hops too with a lemongrass thing, light tropical character, and enough bitterness for a pale ale with some staying power after each swig. this hints at being almost english on the grain side, not overly malty really but seems like more than pale two row, a bit of bready nuance which is nice with the hops, still very new style as these go, not loaded with richer crystal or anything, really good balance. i was i was catching it fresher, the hop combination and dosage is nice, there is a juiciness here, and i like what the grain brings. a tad sharp at the end as it warms, but a beer full of potential i hope to drink again...

Clear gold...well a touch of haze. Clean hop aroma. Nice clean bitterness and light malt, and maybe a touch of some spice? A light hint of flavor i don't identify. But good beer after a 10 hr drive.

Looks like beer, leaves a nice lacing behind. Light and tasty with just a bit of a light bittering dryish aftertaste. I assume it's the hops used but seems to have a hint of something citrus that I like. I'll probably have another one.
