On tap at Kitty’s in Helsinki, Finland. A DDH Pale Ale hopped with Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe. 6%
Golden, hazed, and topped with a creamy foam head. Nose is packed with sweet floral and herbal notes. Carbonation is lively, fizzy, and creamy on the palate. Body is light, but firm. First sip is super fruity and fleshy with tons of peach and some topical notes. Second sip is like biting into an overripe nectarine. Ends quite dry and moreish with herbal flavors hanging around in the finish and some white bread.
Going way out of my lager comfort zone here, but this is a good beer for exactly what it is.
