A special blend of tripels aged in bourbon barrels for 12-20 months, with various brettanomyces wild yeast strains and lactic acid-producing bacteria. The beer has attained an intense tartness and a rich depth of flavor from a combination of our signature maturation process, and being conditioned on locally-sourced lingonberries.

Copenhagen 31/3 2024. 75 cl chubby bottle from Beer Me web-hop. White label with a fine drawing of a cross Bird warrior wielding a trident. Dated 2022.
Pours opaque murky burgundy with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as fragile patches of foam floating about. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a vinous odor of sweet green grapes mingling with tart unripe berries and a touch of funk.Tart, bitter lingonberries, gooseberries. Whiff of vinegar and sour cheese.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong art sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry and acerbic.
Fine tart berry beer.
