An easy drinking IPA with notes of Caramel and roasted malts. Fresh eastern WA grown hops provide a big citric grapefruit character. Medium bodied with a balancing malt backbone as well as high bitterness.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a fine, half finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale, lightly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, some catty dankness. Flavor is biscuit and lightly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, mild lemon, a touch of pine and some catty dankness. Solid finishing grapefruit rind bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. An old fashioned style IPA with English style biscuit malt and a simple, but satisfactory hop bill leaning to grapefruit.Quite drinkable and pleasant.
