Poured from 330mL can into a stemmed goblet. Best by 7/17/26.
Appearance: very dark brown with perhaps a little haze to the body and a finger of frothy tan foam atop.
Smell: sweet with a pronounced caramel/toffee aroma and a chocolatey roastiness. Perhaps a little on the sweet side, but I do rather like it.
Taste: there’s kind of a soft, mild vibe to this beer up front, with an initial sweet caramel character and even a bit of fruitiness, but finishing with some slightly bitter roast. It’s actually quite a nice beer.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and a nice smooth texture.
Overall: this is a pretty solid stout. it’s maybe a bit sweet, so maybe err on the side of it being a dessert beer, but still — I dig it.
