Ceci N'est Pas Le Hype, This is the hype man. Your passionate partner in crime that's pushing you to the primetime, the personification of a pumped-up pale prefect for promotion. A perfectly pleasant palate of punchy tropical fruits, plentiful citus and plump tangerine together in one playful, juicy package. Don't believe the hype, believe in the hazy, believe in yourself and drink the hype man.

First beer of 2023, received at Christmas 2022.
L: Hazy, thin-looking, light yellow in the glass. A big-bubbled, bright-white, short-lived head provides a home for lots of small-bubbled carbonation that's charging up the glass.
S: Really tropical: mango, pineapple, lemon, orange, guava and papaya. The can says tangerine and now that I'm looking for it I can pick it up too.
T: Taste mirrors the aroma. Definitely get the tangerine but who knows if that's now just suggestive psychology. Regardless, it's very nice!
M: Carbonation is pushing towards moderate. There's some carbonic prickle in the chest and on the tongue after swallowing, almost like a soft drink. It fits the overall beer well, though.
O: This beer has got summer evenings written all over it, and I could see a handful of these going down without effort if the mood took over. For these tropical Aussie summer pale ales that's the ultimate compliment, and it's all deserved in this case.
