YIKES, BA BEER #1,000! Of course, it’s a NJ brew. 16 ounce can in a nonic pint glass, just about 2 months since canned so fresh enough.
Pure gold color with a 1-plus F linen colored cap. It has a filtered see through look with big bubble carbonation. The head retains well and leaves foamy lacing.
Soft aromatic mix of citrus and stone fruits. It’s a west coast pale ale with a mix of California grown fruit. Caramel malt and pine round out it’s complex aroma.
Sturdy caramel malt flavor. Citrus comes in orange and light grapefruit and lemon. Some apricot and pine hang back.
Medium plus body, perfectly carbonated. Malt sweetness gives way to a lasting hop finish with little bitterness.
A pale ale as a pale ale should be. West coast style all the way, from NJ of course! Well done.
