The can describes this as a ‘Foeder Fermented Blended Ale with Brettanomyces’ dry hopped with Galaxy and Sabro. The can was gently rolled to and fro on my countertop prior to opening since it had been sitting at the bottom of my fridge for several months. The beer pours with a white head sitting atop a hazy straw colored body. The head quickly fades and leaves the beer looking like a lightly carbonated cider. The nose is pleasantly fruity with a Brett funkiness. The taste is similar - light bodied, a bit of juiciness up front that is overtaken by a drying funky sourness that leaves only a hint of Brett on the finish. Overall, this is an excellent, light, summer quaff that is uniquely well balanced.
