The cannons at Fort Anne have gone silent but the history of our Fort Town packs a bang. The Annapolis Brewing Company's logo is derived from the cannons that watched over Annapolis Royal's harbour. Our Ceasefire IPA is brewed with pale 2-row with a dose of Munich and Caramel 60 malt. This IPA focuses on the hops rather than the bitterness. We did that by hopping in at the 45-minute mark rather than 60 minutes. We go from there with Cascade, Chinook, Willamette, and Amarillo hops to give this beer a nice body and hop balance.

Slightly hazy gold with a large even head. Tropical citrus nose. Medium malt body, slightly thinnish mouthfeel. Decent enough but not outstanding in the field.
