Collaboration with 3 Sons Brewing
Black Ivory Coffee is among the world's most expensive coffees at 1k per #. Black Ivory Coffee is consumed by elephants in Thailand and collected from their waste.
When working with ingredients such as this, we brewed a base beer that would allow them to shine; a blank canvas, if you will. This stout base was brewed with that in mind and then conditioned on a pound of Black Ivory Coffee & two pounds of Papua New Guinea vanilla beans. The result is a pure expression of both of these rare and expensive ingredients. Featuring big ripe berry notes, a sip of Black Tusk comes across like a fine cup of espresso with the silky smooth mouthfeel of a latte.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
