This one pours a blood red looking gloopy red color, with a very small head, and sticky fruity lacing down the glass.
This, unfortunately, smells fantastic, with sticky sweet strawberries, honey, sweet caramel, a touch of rum booziness, and bananas.
I always really want these beers to be super gross, but they are often frustratingly tasty. The rum with the caramel and vanilla and all this fruit is basically just a boozy Jamba Juice thing. It’s not quite as thick as some of the more ridiculous attempts at this ubiquitous style.
I guess this is actually kind of drinkable, as these things go, with a super fruity and creamy feel to it.
It honestly eats away at me that I super enjoy clean crisp and traditional lagers but also guiltily really like these monstrosities.
