Know what S'mores always needed? Peanut butter. ...and stout. It took a Florida brewery to figure all this out as they infuse their imperial pastry stout with cacao nibs, marshmallow, graham cracker and peanut butter.

Corporate Ladder's Dessert Station, Peanut Butter S'mores Stout is the birth-child of such a fusion in flavor as the decadently rich and syrupy pour settles with coffee-black appearances and virtually no foamstance to mention. With a sultry sweet scent of chocolate, sweet cream, coffee, peanut and graham cracker spices dance on the olfactories, the delciously sweet taste of bittersweet chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow and graham cracker is quite overt and obvious.

As the density of the stout slathers the middle palate, a heavy coat of malt provides a cakey texture that seems batter-like with a heavy weave of those vanilla, cream, chocolate, nutty and toasty flavors eventually opening up to a nearly espresso-like roast to round out the session and balance a touch of the sweetness. Drinking like a mocha latte, the s'mores flavors are strong and chase the session into a slow, cloying and dessert-like finish.

Full, heavy and unapologetic in its powerful dessert flavors. the stout is basically alcoholic brownie batter with s'mores ingredients folded into the mix. A kahlua-like warmth also take an edge off the sweetness, but the session is still about a drinkable as chocolate mousse. So, it also helps to make s'mores liquid and drink it through a straw.
