Hitting the sweet tooth hard and heavy, Corporate Ladder shakes things up with a gluten-free base beer that layers it with the creamy, sweet and cakey flavors of whipped cream, vanilla and rainbow sprinkles.
Drinking much like birthday cake, Dessert Station, Rainbow Pebble Candy Milkshake pours like Milk of Magnesia with a frothy, clumping froth. White on white, the drink shares a bold vanilla perfume with soft cake batter notions and a general confectioner's scent. Similarly in taste, the flavors of cake batter, powdered sugar and French vanilla shares a simplistic sweetness with the tongue,
Much the same transpires on the middle palate, where a heavy slather of buttercream frosting, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream applies a heavy coat of sugary fats all along the tastebuds. Heavy cream frames the character of milkshake quite well as the session closes cloyingly sweet, sugary and creamy.
Full bodied, heavy in taste and relegated to a slow sipping affair, the drink is quite tasty, but not at all what most of us reach for when wanting a beer. But for those times when we want a spiked birthday cake flavored milkshake, well that's another story.
