Look out popular fast-food drive-in restaurants, Corporate Ladder puts together a cherry limeade, gluten free ale that has just enough alcohol to make it definitely worth the squeeze.
Worth the Squeeze hits the glass with a red juicy appearance of cranberry juice with scant froth and a spritzy appearance. With the bold aromas of both cherries and lime, there's a tangy sangria scent with a hint of creaminess that draws in the senses. Sweet and playfully candied on the early palate, impressions of jolly rancher, slushy and taffy come to mind.
And that's where the ale stays, Trending slightly more tart, the full fruity sweetness of the session hinges on those lime and cherry flavors as the backdrop citrus, cider and winey tastes only add subtle nuances to the favors established on the early palate. Finishing fruity, tart and sweet, its basically a fruity sangria disguised as a slushy limeade.
Medium bodied for sour ale and continuing that sweet-tart interplay on the finish, the beer is simply an alcoholic squeezebox in aftertaste.
