Celebrating the most iconic beer style to emerge from the Great American West, Ferment Bright West IPA loads Chinook, Mosaic, and a special harvest of Cascade hops into a brew of pilsen malt from Colorado. Bright West is then filtered to the brilliance of a perfect Pacific Sunset. The result is a quite dry bright golden ale supporting a thick head of foam, rich with the pine and citrus best enjoyed with good friends and an adventurous spirit.

Taster flight at Ferment. Clear, medium golden pour, thin, tight foamy head. Fruity aroma, candy, faint pine. ight dryness.Taste is mildly sweet, fruity, some piney hops slipping in at the back. With the hops comes some dryness. A chameleon of a beer.

16oz can (dated 5/29/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear dark yellow color with a 1/2 inch of white head that dissipated quickly, and left no lacing.
The aroma was dominated by C-hops, lots of pine and grapefruit, with just a hint of grainy malt.
Similar on the tongue; very low malt, but lots of bright hops.
The body was medium, smooth and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was nice, I drained the can easily.
Overall, a solid take on the "traditional" IPA style. Worth a grab if you see it.

Canned 07 May, purchased at Market of Choice.
A deep copper with a dense ,off white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is true old school PNW IPA. bright pine, orange, candied orange peel, a mild floral note, along with a prominent Malt character with toasted grain, dark caramel and a light bread note. Decidedly not what I was expecting, but this is still a very nice smelling beer. The palate too - opening with a moderate bitterness and a lot of citrus, pine and floral flavor, there's orange, orange peel, a touch of lemon zest, and, of course, pine. Lots of pine. The mid palate has a blend of dry caramel, a little burnt sugar and a light chalky feel that I associate with Cascade hops. Drying and bitter on the finish, this beer is medium light in body and has wonderful, creamy carbonation. Despite the sweetness, and despite the fact that this is an old school PNW IPA and not a San Diego IPA I was hoping for, this is a tasty, enjoyable and well crafted beer.
