Dry Stout embodies the spirit of the extremely quaffable, midnight-black ales of Dublin. A pale mash and unique black sparge technique imparts a gentle acidity to the beer along with a clean, delicate roast character in this surprisingly refreshing dark ale.

Taster flight at Ferment. Dark brown pour, light bubbly beige head. Roasty aroma, chocolate. Taste is bitter, roasty, coffee, dark chocolate and , of course, dry.

Black brew with a perfect creamy and stiff foam in the Fullers pint. Not quite dry with a dose of caramel along with the nicely charred grainy taste. Smooth and very tasty and quaffable. Happy to try another modest-alcohol brew in the dark vein. So much better than these black lager or schwarzbiers that seem to be lacking in substance. From the 16 oz can purchased at Garden Path in NW Washington. Dated 02/16/23.
