This take on an Italian-style Pilsner is bright with European malts, balancing a bold charge of Noble hops.

Sudsy anber brew in the little Kolsch glass. Aroma is roasted grain with a hint of caraway in the nose. The flavor is really interesting. Starts out warm and malty with distinct mild sweetness. Spicy and darkly herbal with some notes of celery and cucumber. Eventually it gets more bitter and reminds me of a Rye beer. Overall this is a more interesting than average Pilsner and sets a new mark for the "Italian" style. Still, it's a little too bitter and resiny. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 06/18/2025.

Thanks to Chris for this one. 16oz can (dated 2/16/21) poured into 12oz tulip. Poured a clean, clear, bright medium gold color with a bit over an inch of white head that had very good retention and light lacing.
The aroma was led by nice earthy grains, but lacked the bold, bright hops that have thus far typified the style.
Same on the tongue, nice grains, but very soft and subdued hops.
The body was light and crisp, smooth across the tongue, and had a medium finish that dried out a bit.
Drinkability was good, an easy crusher for sure.
Overall, a nice brew that doesn't really fit its title. Still, worth a shot if you see it.
