Like summer in a glass. Summer IPA offers big citrus and mango hop character in a refreshing unfiltered golden ale topped with a billowy head of foam. Stay cool.

16oz can purchased at 1856. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of caramel, citrus and floral notes. Sweet caramel taste with a subtle bitterness.

16 oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, Washington, for $3.79. Different label than the one shown here.
Poured into an IPA glass, this was a cloudy apricot amber color, with a big, fluffy, off-white head that took a long time to drop, dissipating in a manner that made it look like ice cream slowly melting, and leaving plenty of lace on the sides of the glass.
Fruity hop nose. The Hop aroma is reminiscent of tropical fruits.
Fruit forward in the flavor department. Crackery malt backbone. Bitterness is fairly low in the mix and is most apparent in the fadeout, where it takes on an almost lemongrass-y dryness.
Medium body, with an almost watery thin mouthfeel.
On untapped, this is classified as an English IPA. I'm not sure I agree with that, but it's not exactly a typical American IPA, either. It's definitely drier and has a different kind of bitterness on the back end that makes it atypical of both WCIPAs and Hazies, although it's appearance makes it look like one of the latter. Definitely seemed more fruity than an English IPA, though.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned on 7/12/21.
Appearance: bright yellow-golden hue with lots of haze and two fingers of frothy eggshell foam. Quite nice!
Smell: a bit of hops and actually a bit of a light funk. It's not sour, per se, but there's definitely a funky saison kind of a thing going on here. It's actually not too bad, I'm just not sure how intentional it is.
Taste: the light funk is in the flavor as well, although with the grassy, slightly tropical hops and smooth, sweet malt character, it definitely plays a part. I'm guessing the aroma is just the hops manifesting in kind of a weird way. I find that the flavor itself is actually growing on me quite nicely.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and level of creaminess.
Overall: the aroma is kind of weird, but I do really like the juiciness of this beer.

Pours a clear yellow amber with abundant foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Maybe it's the power of suggestion, but I keep tasting the overdose of clove from the Weizen beer I had earlier. Aromatic with melon and peach. Flavors of apricot and then a woody bite takes over. Dark earthy gunk funk.
This is endlessly sudsy and aromatic. It's a little overly bitter in the aftertaste with an unpleasant astringency. Would be great otherwise. From the 16 oz can purchased at possibly the Coop market in Bellingham. Dated 07/12/2021 on the bottom.
07/23/2022 Update: Current version, if this is the same beer, is 6.5% and brewed with Mosaic and Citra hops. Quite hazy, otherwise flavors the same as I described last summer. Ochre color can this time.
