Very, very cool location. Honestly doesn't get much better as far as that goes. Old Grange Hall on a hill overlooking the river. The brewing area is below the bar area. You've got to walk up past it to get to the bar, which has a variety of beers and styles made in house as well as merch and some snack foods. Service was okay considering how slow it was while we were there and the beers ranged from decent to very good in my opinion.

I stopped in here for the first time today on a Sunday afternoon. In an old historical building with cannons outside and many ropes telling you not to go here or there. You walk off grove st up a gravel driveway towards the back of the building. Through two doors and your staring at the brewhouse and fermenters before you climb a set of stairs to the tasting room area. I'm wondering how those with mobility issues would be able to get inside. Bar to the left with a dozen or so seats, maybe a dozen tables inside and off to the right is a door that leads to an outside area. I sat at the bar and ordered up a flight and gave my credit card to keep a tab open. They have 9 taps but only 5 beers were available today, the RIS was crossed off the menu. Samples and full pours are available and I saw someone get a growler filled. They have some food although I didn't try any. Chips and salsa, chili, pretzels and hummus, soft pretzels. The bartenders were attentive but when I wanted to cash out I had to get up out of my seat and wait in line at the end of the bar behind someone buying a tee shirt, someone buying a growler, and the couple who were sitting to my left at the bar. That process could surely be streamlined a bit. The beer was great the outside area looked fantastic I'd go back in a heartbeat.

A great small town nanobrewery. Smack in the middle of a quintessential New Hampshire town in Monadnock country.
A beautifully renovated old veteran’s lodge. Very friendly staff.
A community watering hole. Visited on a December Saturday. People hanging out chatting. Others coming in to get growlers.
Nice selection and variety of beers. From grissettes and helles, through a wonderfully fruity DIPA, to a tastfully boozy imperial stout to ward off the winter chill.
Wish they canned or kegged so I could find their beer closer to home. But, I’ll be back.

A totally refurbished (inside) historic building. The G.A.R was Peterborough's first highschool among other functions since 1837
The original post and Beam structure inside was fully maintained with an old wood style decore and small outdoor seating area that has a view from the hill of the statue and cannon in the yard.
Staff was super friendly on a lazy Thursday afternoon. A welcome addition to our local beer landscape in the Monadnock region.
