Color is clear dark orange with a brown tinge, and plenty of foam in the Troubadour tulip. Not much fizz in the mouth. Aroma of scorched grain.
Woody flavor with an herbal, leaf mold hop flavor. Aftertaste is bitter and on the astringent side. I don't know what they put in this stuff but the result is a little harsh. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery tap.
