Had on tap. Nice jet black opaque appearance with virtually no brown foam lacing. The smell is robust and smoky for the style, almost like burning rubber. Taste is boozy, slightly bitter from hops, and full of the roasted barely that is key to style, but slightly unbalanced. Feel has too much booze burn, especially for 4.5%, feels way too heavy as a result.
