Poured from 12-ounce can into a tulip glass. Canning date unknown, but I'm assuming it's fresh. It's a new release, and the hop character is incredibly bright and intense. Hazy yellow in color, with a thick and sudsy white head. Good retention, with a bit of sticky lacing. The brewer's description is spot on. Tropical fruit and pineapple dominate on the nose and palate, with notes of citrus zest. Juicy mouthfeel, with tons of bitterness and an oily and resinous finish. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I appreciate these qualities in an IPA. I wouldn't change a thing.
