I'll be honest - Bonesaw is not my #1 brewery near me. I'm not sure if i've just been spoiled by places like Human Robot in Philadelphia or Tonewood in Barrington/Oaklyn NJ but I feel that Bonesaw used to be better. BUT - Crimson Skull has consistently remained one of my favorite beers. I think they knock this one out of the park.
Look: Everything you want it to be for an amber lager / vienna style.
Smell: Fall spices, bread, honey.
Taste: Toffee, caramel, honey, rye bread, some belgian yeast? A bit of lemon zest and the tiniest hint of starburst (i'm sorry - I don't mean to sound like a D-bag. The phillies are winning right now and i'm feeling good)
Feel: First a full, syrupy body but then a rush of carbonation activates. Finishes like if a honey-bourbon was crushable and dry.
Overall: I may be drinking this on a pre-summer May evening in South Jersey but this tastes like October to me. I don't think most breweries could do much better than this. It's everything you need for this style. Good job, Bonesaw.

Not as dark amber as a Vienna should be. Nice lacing on the glass. Malty, bready and clean tasting. It's a nice try but needs a little development to compete against the big name Viennas.

Has a nice cloudy amber appearance.
Body is about medium with perhaps just a hair below average carbonation but overall a nice feel.
The aroma was an excellent mix of doughy sticky, dark bread with a little malt, cereal, grain and a little spice.
Taste is very similar to aroma but not as sweet as expected, almost a touch dry on the finish. Bready, doughy, cereal, malt and grain.
I've enjoyed several from this brewery but this one was very good

12 oz can. Pours amber with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of grassy hops and caramel and biscuit malt. Body is medium and crisp. Grassy hops and bready and caramel malt nicely balanced on the palate. Finish is long and dry. Great brew.

Nice initial head gives way to opaque white layer of froth. A nice amber color, with some orange hue, and a slight haze to it.
Aroma is like a bakery making bread. There is also some mild toastiness and maybe even a nuttiness to it.
Taste is very much like the nose, all fresh whole grain toasty bread.
Body is light but the mouthfeel is full but in no way too much. It has a very clean finish, very subtle and low bitterness. Nice pleasant smooth carbonation.
Another impressive beer from bonesaw ive loved every lager I’ve had from them. Just wish they canned more of them. My favorite part was how full the body was and at the same time so clean. A very well made beer, up later another local lager.

S: sweet, English tofffee smelling beer
T: sweet, burnt toffee beer with a subtle sweet vanilla aftertaste
