Very dark brown clear brew with adequate foam in the wine glass. Hints of dark roasted malt in the aroma. Smooth and malty with just a touch of sweetness. Hint of honey followed by the green alfalfa hop taste. Just slightly bitter with a charred grain note. Quite modestly flavored, like an amped-up Dark Mild. Winey and grainy aftertaste. Not interesting but quaffable. From the 473 ml can purchased at a ghetto liquor store on Kingsway. Dated 2024-06-06.
