Novel Strand Brewing Company

This is a good little neighborhood place. They don't have a ton of taps, but at least a half-dozen beers are available, so you can make it work. They don't have a huge variety of beers as a result, but what they make is very good. They do some other events and things here, and the day I went there was a food truck outside, so you can easily spend an afternoon or evening here.

 

 

 

 

i think its awesome spots keep opening in this neighborhood, the south broadway area, these guys have a really great location, a cool corner, shared space, coffee roaster and cafe by day, although i think they roast offsite, and brewery by evening, definitely brewing there. cute little patio and a small bar/cafe area right when you walk in, but an expansive chill area, all kinds of seating from bar to leather couches, exposed brick, low lighting, cool art, mellow and almost residential feeling to me, just blocks from a busy intersection it has a relaxed feel inside and out. cool beers too, although not tons of them and with a pretty heavy bent towards hazy hoppy beer, i liked just about all that we had in here. green showers and contains hops were the standouts, but i liked them all pretty well. nice folks at the helm too, humble, educated, kind, welcoming. i liked their budding thoughts the least, but even that was drinkable. good energy in here, the neighborhood hasnt caught on yet i dont think. i cant wait to check it out again in another couple of weeks. really good for being brand new!
