Neat place in the downtown area of Olympia. Was quite busy so must be popular with the locals. It is a large space which lent to it be a bit sterile. The food was great and so was the service. They had several beers on tap so plenty to choose from; however, there were several of the same styles so it was a bit limited in that regard. Definitely recommend it if you are hungry and want a beer.

Sleek brewpub on the main drag downtown. L-shaped bar to the left of the entrance seats about 15, with tables and booths inside, and patios out front and on the left side of the building. 16 beers on tap, nice selection, single cans to go. Friendly bartender. I did not try the food.

Right in downtown. Really good sized and quite tall, dining room. Modern, matte black finished, wooden booths, tables and chairs. Their sauerkraut is hot and sautéed with onions and some mushrooms. Big Bavarian pretzels are usually a dime a dozen, meaning so uniform in style and quality, that they are usually relegated to commodity status. Bring this up because the large Bavarian style bread pretzel, is hot, has a thin, egg white brushed exterior and has a soft and tender interior, that is quite good. Some people may also stay away from these because of the excessive amount of large rock salt, on the outside. It is easy to rub off as much as the salt as you want. I always rub it all off, since the dough is sufficiently salted, nearly always. I do the same with salted caramels, too much salt.

I stopped into Well 80 Brewhouse a week ago while I was exploring down around Olympia. When I was there, they had 13 of their beers on tap plus a guest handle (and cider and booze, too, if that's your thing). There was a good variety of styles, including several hazy IPAs but also a Flanders red and a couple lagers and stouts, and an imperial brown. One of the lagers is a smoked amber lager! A nicely rounded selection.

The Original Lager '64 is quite good, and the hazy IPA I had was decent if not outstanding. The barrel-aged smoked amber lager has quite a bit of vanilla-ey barrel to it but could use bit more smoke IMO (though the guy at the bar next to me says it's too smoky).

The taproom/restaurant is in a big lodge-looking room and the brewhouse and barrelhouse are in full view (love it!). I find it very welcoming in here. The service up at the bar on this particular day was a bit inattentive, but friendly enough. As for food, I had the brussels sprouts and they were excellent.

a fairly upscale vibe in this new brewery and eatery in the center of town. the name apparently comes from an artesian well very close by which is where they source their water. its modern inside, expansive, with a bar and a restaurant side kind of separated by a little half wall, sports on a few tvs, but its not really a sports bar vibe, its nicer than that. windows to keg storage and the brew area are cool touches, and the place was buzzing on a thursday evening. they had a pretty ambitious list of beers, even though we only had time for two, a brightly hoppy india pale lager and a barrel aged thai saison, very interesting and both of them quite good. nice to see a newer spot hitting it on the out there stuff, i was pleased with these. service was just okay, one dude running around covering the whole bar, he was hurried and not personal, but he was friendly enough and relatively prompt considering. their food both looked and smelled good, but we did not eat, next time for sure. i am not always in love with the classed up brewery vibe, but they did a good job with this place and more important than anything, they are making good beer. recommended when on the local brewery circuit!

Big space that is clean and comfortable. The quality of the beer was above average. Attentive service was top notch without being pushy or obtrusive. Selection was decent with seven of their own beers and a rotating selection of other local brews. Full bar and wine too. Food was very good.
