Bought at an underground city food court in Montreal. Interesting to see a California style IPA brewed in Quebec. Numbers on the bottom of the can but I couldn’t figure out if it was a date or some other kind of code.
Pours a orange-ish copper color, very little haze if any, lots of carbonation. Good head retention and lacing.
Tastes all west coast IPA. Pretty good beer. 6% but tasted bigger. Paired it was an excellent burrito. Would drink again.

It pours relatively clear bright orange with some particulate gunk at the end of the pour. There is a nice, big moussey white head that leaves decent lacing. The aroma is bright, clean orange and toasty malt sweetness. Orange rind, herby, slightly oxidized bitterness is the brunt of the flavor. As I drink on it this bitterness becomes progressively more medicinal. At the same time I feel like the age becomes less noticeable in the flavor and more noticeable in the aroma.
It is as drinkable as could be expected, fairly dry with moderate carbonation. It is not quite a drainpour, but is definitely missing something to push it to being fully enjoyable. Ordinarily I would be more gentle on my rating for an oxidation/age issue but since this beer is brewed by a big craft brewery who cans it, takes care of the shipping and handling and has the capacity to date their cans but chooses not to, I kind of feel like they've brought it on themselves. Worst of all from a style standpoint is that it seems less "California-ey" than one would think and doesn't quite get the fruity new-school thing right either. Anyway...

A-This beer is solid yellow with a slight orange tint, whitehead that lingers and good lacing
S- Aroma is on the dank, pine side with some citrus notes of orange and grapefruit rind.
M- The body and carbonation are in the medium range, with a nice low end resinous character
T- Tart grapefruit sweetness with a mellow and smooth elevated bitterness that balance each other really well
O-This is a nice representation of the Weat Coast IPA I remember from when I was there. Solid IPA, with higher end IBU profile
