This beer feels like it splits the difference between a Helles and a Pilsner, and it does so extremely well. The noble hops are less assertive than with a German pils, but it avoids the more floral, dry character of a Helles in favor of the cleaner, crackery malt profile and short finish of a Pilsner. It's the best of both worlds if you're looking for a subtle, refreshing, sessionable pale lager. Best enjoyed on tap, but still plenty good from the can.

Sampling a cold 12 oz can poured into my new .5L dimple mug from Schilling. The beer pours a bright clear golden color with bleached white head of 1 cm. This foam fades to the thinnest of edge layers almost immediately after the pour.
Aroma is somelight grainy malt with a bit of a biscuity note. There is maybe a bit of a grassy hop character too.
First sip reveals a light body with crisp texture and tingly carbonation. Beer drinks very easy and is crushable on the physical traits.
Flavor is similar to the nose with a bit of grainy notes and some light biscuit or dough and then again a bit of grassy hop note. ABV hidden and beer is gone quickly.
A pretty solid Helles that is easy to drink and still interesting enough to enjoy throughout the consumption.
Glad I tried this one.
