What a fantastic find! I won't bore you with snooty pseudo connoisseur descriptions. This is an excellent American version of an English IPA. It tastes like one! Nuff said! DRINK IT!

Sensibility is a rare ingredient in beer nowadays. With all that rarity, you'd think that breweries would clamoring over this ingredient. But Outer Limits is the scarce brewery who will attempt to make such a boring beer.
And their efforts are rewarded as Froot Boots kicks off with a golden-amber hue and only a moderate hop haze. As a creamy ivory froth builds on the rim, its spicy hops, floral scents and fruity tone. Sweeter on the tongue, there's a cashew filled caramel, toast and nutty taste that frames the beer's overall maltiness.
As the flavors unfold, the beer turns from malt to hops for a fruitiness that shares orange peels, grapefruit and nectarine while adding a ester profile of apricot and hints of marmalade. Trending swiftly bitter, the finish is woodsy with spruce, pine and peppery grasses for a dry taste heading into finish.
Bitter, resinous and slightly stemmy, the beer finishes with a discernible hop bitterness that aids in dryness, refreshment and drinkability with a gin-like spice in a long and sprucy aftertaste.

Really looking for just about anything other than yet another New England IPA. I love the style but burn out is real.
English style juicy sounds just about right! In my mind I'm thinking traditional aspects of the English IPA with a certain malt character, spicy hop and drink ability. But hazy and juicy... We'll see.
Canned on: 11/23/20 Skate or Die
Opened and reviewed on: 3/4/21
A mostly clear amber color with a mild inner haze. A slightly off-white, thick and creamy foam cap. This is pretty much exactly what I was imagining for the look. Lace for days as the level recedes.
Ah yes, the nose has all of those classic aspects of the English IPA: Sweet dark bread and caramel malty aroma, subtle chocolate, spicy and herbal hop punch with maybe some old english leather mixed in.
A medium bodied brew with a crispy bite that packs a punch. Malty smooth texture is pretty impressive, then dry in the finish.
English breast malt flavor hits first, smooth caramel, doughy with old spices and herbal kick in the hops. Centennial and Chinook might be old school, but not exactly what I think of as traditional English hops. These two really bring the spicy, earthy and bitter kick. Mosiac and Ekuanot new school hops are the juicy side, but only in a very subtle way. Citrus and earthy fruits pop out, but it's really all about how all of these aspects and characters make up a very unique IPA.
Full of many different kinds of flavor's and still achieving something greater than just the sum of it's parts. Highly recommend!

12 oz. can.
Bottom of can:
"Canned on 04/14/20
Kate or Die"
Ohhkayy...
Moderate pour yields a one inch off white head over a deep golden body with some lacing. Nose of hop aromas with lots of floral aspects, some fruit (tropical, slight citrus), and just a bit of pine. Taste is malt forward with tropical fruit and pine, having a finish of dank, earthy, pine bitterness. Nice feel and overall, a nice representation of a style that needs more exposure; but alas, being from New England it might be a tough sell. Find it, buy it, drink it!
Cheers!!
