Calexico Brewing Company

I visited Calexico brewing when I was in town a few weeks ago. They're located in an industrial park at the edge of town, but the taproom is cozy and wood-paneled with a good pub vibe. The brewhouse is right there next to the pub, which I always like to see, and the bartender I spoke with was friendly.

On my visit, they only 4 beers on tap: a Mexican lager, English brown, English brown with pumpkin spice, and a red IPA; they also had a mango hard seltzer. I had the basic brown and the IPA; both were serviceable, if not excellent. Calexico's not too bad of a place, but I'd go there more as a hang-out than for the beer specifically.

Small brewery on the south side of town, with small 2-seat service bar and a half dozen tables to the right of the entry. Only 3 beers on tap, the Bulldog was a bit on the overly malty side, the Black IPA was very tasty. Friendly knowledgeable bartender.
