A reasonably priced pint can was entirely emptied into a clear glass liter mug. Visually, it looks much like an American Adjunct Lager, with its bright and light golden-amber color and near translucence. There was a short-lived just-off-white head that reduced to a thin film. But, this doesn't smell like a Lager. Although there is faint malt for the nose, this is mostly hoppy in a piney and resinous way. That's what it delivers to taste. It's sharply bitter, with a bite that lingers. That's OK, but it certainly would taste better with a little malty counterbalance. A notable feature here is the oats included do little to soften the hop bite, nor do they add much to the mouthfeel. The absence of glass lacing backs that up. Call it in the West Coast Style, but this really could have used a little more malt and with it, likely a little more body.

Such a strange beer. Usually citra, mosaic and pats = hazy/juicy. This is. Clear IPA/ west coast through and through. Very moderate to high on the bittering hops scale and very flavorful grain bill to balance it out. A very well crafted old school west coast IPA.

16oz can from brewery. Normal looking pour, golden, white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, dank. Taste brings in some bready malts, but they are therre to support the pretty bold hop flavors. Nice IPA!

Canned little more than a week ago. This is a really nice citra and mosaic showcase. Prickly, vibrant aromas of mango, orange, and something sweet. Tastes as it smells thankfully. Bountiful, sweet, juicy fruit salad. Light charred caramel and faint bitterness at the finish. The body is surprisingly light.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is gold, head is bright white with fine to small bubbles, head presents 1 finger thick and laces the glass nicely, solid top remains.
Smell is very pleasant and enticing - more earthy, piney, with citrus/grapefruit/lemon pith/rind backing, malt brings up the back end with noticeable presence.
Taste follows aroma with pine, earth, citrus and grapefruit, then slightest bit but near perfect amount of malt character in the form of toast and very light caramel, maybe some nuttiness.
Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, low/moderate sweetness, moderate/strong bitterness but limited drying.
Overall a great IPA - nice hop/malt balance from aroma through mouthfeel.

Highly Recommended, not a beer you'd expect coming out of a Nano brewery. Is pour man's brewings flag ship beer and it's easy to see why

Grabbed a crowler of this the other day (Monday, the 25th) and didn't want to sit on this too long.
The appearance was a nice copper coated burnt orange color with a slight transparency. A small cap of a little off white foamy head sliding off nicely leaving a light webbed lace trying to stick to the glass.
The aroma had orange cream, soft sweet pine, lemon chiffon, fresh mangoes, sticky sweet grassiness and a sweet clean bready malty backbone.
The flavor was moderately bittersweet with some juicy crisp mango/pine/!lemon tones. Crisp grassy hoppy after with some juiciness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation seemed on par for the style. ABV felt good. Mild sticky semi-juicy to bittersweet finish.
Overall, a somewhat lighter version of the style yet acceptable to come back to.
