Very hazy when poured. Very little head. Looks like a hazy lemon soda. More head did come up after it sat, so maybe my pour was very gentle. I did appreciate the low carbonation when I drank it, very little belching or bloating.
There is a distinct clove aroma and flavor. Combined with the haze the beer is reminiscent of a German wheat beer.
Lightly malty up front with a citrusy hop flavor kicking in. Hoppy finish and aftertaste. This beer would go very nicely with lamb. Just rename it as a Belgian IPA.
My can had a fair amount of what seemed to be bitter malt extract drained down it. Maybe it was canned on a bad day.

16 oz can
pours a clear light yellow golden color, foamy white head. Light crackery pale malt flavor, clean, crisp. But on the sweeter side. thinner bodied, lively carbonation

Although my pint can doesn't read "Kolsch" but instead "Premium Beer", I found it to be clean and refreshing, not unlike a light Kolsch without the adjunct flavors of an American Premium beer. There's a date of 3/19/24 and it's early April. I live within 30 minutes of this locally highly rated brewery and it seems fresh to me!

Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my .3L stange. I picked up this can on a recent visit to Pennsylvania. Date stamp is 7-21-2022.
The beer pours a bright clear golden color with a few lazy streams of carbonation slowly rising to the surface.
There is a bleached white fizzy head of .5 cm that fades to a thin edge layer soon after the pour. This foam leaves some scattered lattice after each sip or swirl.
Aroma is grainy malts and some light bread notes too, maybe a little bit of floral note and then some spicy hop character.
First sip reveals a very light body and smooth texture with very fine and tingly carbonation.
Flavor is clean and some bread notes and light honey character, but its not a sweet flavor at all. Moves to some bitey crisp hop notes of flower petals and black tea. Finish is very dry and encourages me to take another sip.
Pretty nice example of the style and one that I am glad to have tried, would recommend to others searching for a nice easy drinking beer.

Does not really compare favorably to a German Kolsch but overall not a bad attempt.

Holy Head!
Poured from a pounder can.
Explosive shaving cream head. Stayed till close to the end. Amazing lace. More like sea foam stuck to the inside of the glass.
Fantastic!
Aroma is somewhat citrusy and grassy with a light toast in the back. Jam maybe?
Taste is crisp but smooth.
The color is very light straw.
They packed a lot of flavor in such a light SRM beer.
I will definitely try to seek this out again in the future.
A very well crafted version of a German classic style.
The perfect anytime beer.
Kudos guys!
