pours black, but when held up to the light, some light still gets through the edges of the glass for some garnet colored highlights. cream colored head, decent head retention. pleasant moderately roasty coffee aroma, some dark chocolate as well. similar taste, a touch sweet, finish is a little acidic. fuller bodied, slick smooth feel
