A burgundy, brown beer with big, lace head.
Smell of banana and clove, a strong wheat/weizen smell. This is combined with some caramel malty notes. The wheat gives the beer a somewhat musty smell, most of it reminds me of beefstock, but in a good way.
The taste is dominated by the yeast character, a fine estery profile with moderate banana and moderate to low clove presence, yet a tad sharp. The caramel malts add a bit of maltiness, but I miss the full body of a dark weizen. The body is too thin. No real off-flavors, a decent beer.

Poured from a bottle into a galss, it has a nice brown two finger head that leaves some lacing around the glass.
Smell is sweet like stale water.
Taste is not anything like a normal dunkel, slightly sour.
This is a drinkable beer, but its not up to the standards of normal dunkels.

BB 15-11-05. Enormous explosion of CO2 by pooring in resulting in a good head with quiet big bubbles, yellow color and not that stable. Amberbrown beercolor with good haze. Nose is sour of used wheat, barn arome in maltyness and hardly any maltarome and no fruity bananna noticeable. Sournes and emptyness also comming in taste and again hardly any maltarome. Further not fresh and carbonisation is far too high IMO. Aftertaste doesn't show any bitterness at all and is just watery. Dull and muffy beer IMO.
