Coffee colour with a thin ring that lasts. Nose is a mocha/coffee aroma, cinnamon forward and some light heat from the peppers at the finish. The peppers definitely are not offensive, they surprisingly mesh well with the beer.

Poured from cask into pint glass.
A: Nice cascading effect as beer settles. Super dark brown with a thick creamy dark mocha head of about 2 inches.
S: Soft dark chocolate, peppers, cinnamon, vanilla, and a hint of cream. Nice strong aroma.
T: Follows aroma with a bit more. Smooth dark chocolate, cinnamon, peppers (perfectly restrained spicy note), vanilla, coffee and cream.
M: Medium body. Dark chocolatey sweetness with subtle pepper heat and stronger cinnamon spice. Perfect balance. Lingers nicely on the palate.
D: Wow! Distinctive flavors with excellent balance. The pepper note is perfect. Seek it out!
