Pouring deep amber and copper red this clean, dark lager has a deep rich malt character with most notable notes of toffee, bread, and caramel. Dunkel is the german word for dark.

I have run into a lot of local breweries having a sudden interest in Dunkels. This was the weakest of the three MN breweries I have had this last week. Fermentation just was not as clean or perhaps it needed to be lagered longer.

Pours a dark cola colour with a thin head. Nose is malty and lightly chocolate. Taste is cocoa and coffee right off the top with an earthy and lightly chocolate finish.
