Poured from crowler into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a dark brown hue with generous 2+ inch dark tan head with good retention.
S: Dark roast coffee with cream, light bourbon, vanilla, toasted sweet malt, and a hint of creme brûlée. Very nice aroma!
T: Dark roast coffee with cream, toasted malt, vanilla, hazelnut, and a hint of sweet bourbon. Follows aroma well.
M: Light body. Layers of dark malty/roasty sweetness. Lightly dry and bitter. Lingers a bit on the palate.
D: Just a ton of well balanced flavor packed into this brew! Extremely sessionable. Great take on a solid base beer.
