16 oz can into a tulip glass.
L: Pours a dark mahogany color with a 1" light beige headlight carbo, head slowly recedes to edge froth, very light lacing.
S: Grains, caramelized malts, a hint of smoke, a sensation of wood.
T: Moderately sweet & smoky caramelized malts, brown bread dough, a hint of biscuit, distant toffee, a touch of honey, a long bitter linger deep within the finish.
F: Brisk the smooth medium bodied mouthfeel with a medium length moderately dry finish that lingers.
O: Wow! Such a tasty and easy drinking beer. No alcohol detected. Perfect balance with smokey, overall sweetness, and malts. The finish is simply divine and is bitter. This beer is elegant and is excellent in its style.

16oz can. Poured out a murky brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of earthy notes, peat, toffee and caramel. It tasted of peat, caramel, toffee and roasted malt.

Reposting earlier review (for my tally - old account was deleted):
On tap at Little Thistle. Pours a cola colour, head faded down into nothing. Some very faint smoke on the nose. Taste starts out sticky, smoky and malty, almost chewy. Some light toffee also mixed in, good for style.

Poured from crowler into shaker pint glass. Filled 8/31/21.
A: Pours an amber brown hue with 2 inch bubbly light tan head with good retention.
S: Sweet caramel malt, wood smoke, and a hint of earthy spice.
T: Follows aroma with chewy and sweet caramel malt, nice wood smoke, and some earthy spice.
M: Light body. Chewy and oily feel with malt sweetness.
D: A good example of style and a very sessionable brew. I particularly enjoyed the wood smoke note.
