608 Brewing Grandpa's Liquor Cabinet Special Cuvee #4 BBA Barleywine/Imperial Stout, 13% ABV. Pours thick and black, with a one-finger light-brown head that left some oily lacing. Aroma is roast malt, chocolate, dark fruit, and coconut. Taste follows, plus vanilla, slightly sweet, faintly bitter. Decent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Black colored body, no back lit edge. Short lasting tan head. No lacing.
Aroma is deep with chocolate, bourbon, dark fruit, and marshmallow.
Taste is mostly stout but has some definite barleywine flavors. Chocolate stout blends second half with dark fruit, butterscotch, and caramel. Very well blended aftertaste flavors.
Thicker mouth feel. Competition among the flavors. Supportive carbonation.
Accomplished blend that leads to the marshmallow.
