This imperial stout was initially aged in Elijah Craig 10 year barrels for 12 months and then moved into Willet Family Estate Rye Barrels and aged for an additional 19 months putting this bad boy in barrels for over 2.5 years!!! We then run this stout through gratuitous amounts of coconut, cacao nibs, vanilla beans and pecans!!!

Double Bourbon Barrel German Chocolate Cake pours a black color, with a small tan head. The aroma is strong, with prominent notes of bourbon, chocolate, and coconut. The flavor is much the same, big, lovely, lots of bourbon, chocolate, and coconut. Thick, sweet, syrupy feel. Overall, a big, gorgeous, cake-like beer.
