“Sour ale with pickle juice and peppers”

If you like spicy pickles, you’ll love this beer. Pale gold with a finger of foam, bright clarity and drippy lace. Green jalapeño and savory aroma from the salt, mildly crackery.

Ample heat, I was surprised when the brewery staff said it wasn’t that hot. Definitely lingers. Lots of salt, almost like a salty roasted jalapeño at the taqueria. The sourness gets drowned out a bit by the salt and heat. Any dill from the pickle juice is definitely obliterated. Still, it works and is a savory chile heat bomb. Overall it’s a successful novelty experiment. Would probably make a great bloody or michelada.
