Poured from a height of 12-14” with barely a skim of foam. Thin broken skim fades to nothing after the first sip.
Hazelnut coffee, chocolate liqueur, booze certainly bleeds through. Medium bodied and creamy, bitter dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, and roast malt balance the light sweetness. Sticky on the lips. Coffee lingers in the aftertaste, vaguely fruity. Overall it’s pretty good, could use a little more refinement but it’s not bad.
