Imperial Milk Stout

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark amber with thin khaki ring head that didn't leave any lace. The scent had roast and sweet malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet dark chocolate malt base with roast, vanilla, and coffee. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had smoove carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Can pour; looks a bit on the murky brown side, but no matter. Nose is traditional milk stout stuff. Flavor is creamy roastiness. Body is full, finish is slightly dry/clean. Most excellent for a basic imperial milk stout.
