I tried this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with off white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had very roast malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was nice roast and dark chocolate base with clean hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid porter.
