Pours a lightly foggy copper with a finger of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is Belgian yeast, plums, dark fruits, herbal and medicinal hops, and light honey. Flavor profile is dark fruits, yeast ester, cinnamon, and floral and medicinal hops. Little bit of toasty, nutty, and biscuity malts add a little support. Mouth feel is medium with a soft texture. Overall, expressive, showcasing some pleasant Belgian notes while remaining balanced. Mead just barely sneaks through.
