Stopped by here in spring 2017 for a beer and food. Place was nearly empty on a late Wednesday afternoon.
Good beer selection. I ordered a Pirate Bomb for all of $12-13. That's basically the same price we pay for a bottle at the store in MI and Prairie beers tend to disappear in a day or two.
I ended up having one of the grilled Po Boy's and that is where the trouble started. It just wasn't any good. Small, not much substance on the bread, and incredibly disappointing. I remember leaving disappointed and hungry.
When it comes to food the first impression seems to be correct the majority of the time. I may stop by once more considering the beer wasteland south Texas is.
