Fliärblome is a blend of spontaneous wheat beer with elderflowers and young Aoltbeer. Sour and refreshing with the taste of elderflowers.

Pours a slightly cloudy, golden amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of doughy malt and elderflowers, with hints of musty funk and oak as well. Taste is a great balance of light doughy malt, a distinct elderflower presence, lighter fruity esters of green apple and pear and some musty funky and tannic oak, with a light underlying lactic, citric acidity. Finishes with a light tartness and some elderflower, funk and oak lingering in the aftertaste. Quite effervescent mouthfeel with a medium body and medium/lively carbonation.
Another great Wild Ale from Kemker that manages a great balancing act of being rather light and refreshing, but still having a certain complexity to it thanks to a great balance of lightly tart, fruity, floral and funky, tannic, woody notes, which really creates a quite harmonious brew that's easy-drinking yet rich in character at the same time, with quite an effervescent, fluffy mouthfeel as well. Very enjoyable and proof once again that Kemker are pretty much making the best Wild Ales in Germany right now.
