The base beer matured for 4 months in wine barrels. To this small batch no.10-2021 we have added organically grown Dornfelder pomace from Franconia. After 2 months of laceration in the beer, we pressed the concoction and let it mature in barrels for another 7 months.

Deep saturated crimson color, good clarity, ample pastel pink foam that fades to an outer ring.
Aroma has minerality and a light wild funk, farm pasture and horseblanket.
Taste is full of dark red grape juiciness, raspberry and cherry, gentle acidity and mild tannins, dry finish. Light carb, medium bodied, very drinkable and versatile with food. Approachable and appealing, more like a natural red wine than a sour fruit bomb.
