Birrificio Zapap "Bologna Pils"
33 cl. can coded "DA CONSUMARSI PREFERIBILIMENTE ENTRO IL/LOTT: 03/2026 L 15/2025". Sampled on 25 November 2025
Look: A hazy golden body is capped by a short head of bright white foam that holds fairly well and leaves some nice lacing behind.
Smell: Grainy and herbal.
Taste: Grainy, bready, herbal, and grassy backed by a solid bitterness that brings it to a dry conclusion. Everything is there except for the symmetry - it's balanced, but blocky. I'll still call it rounded, but there's no magic to it, and it comes across as a little dull.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp as suspected.
Overall: Decent enough but really not quite there.
